mark martin is supposed to step out of the nextel cup, but is not retiring..ricky rudd might not be back in a car, but will not be retiring..
there will probably be a few drivers who will not be getting in cars (not really many that are actively racing, but who have in the past and might in the future) but there haven't been any official retirement announcements..not even mark yet.

Mark Martin is retiring as a full-time Nextel Cup Driver, but will compete full-time in the Craftsman Truck Series next year.Terry Labonte is running the final races of his career and he will hang his helmet for good at the end of the 2006 season.
I am not sure about anybody else, however.

Mark Martin has stated that for sure this is his last year. (it was supposed to happen last year, but this year is definitely the last)No other drivers have confirmed, but rumors have possibly Kenny Schrader, (But I think he'll go one more year), maybe Sterling Marlin, and perhaps also Kyle Petty. No announcements have been made regarding any of these drivers though.
