F1 radio scanning?
Anyone know anything about scanning the team radios at an F1 race (if it makes a difference, in Montreal Canada)? Can you do it? If so, how?

sorry...nopesHeya!
I think that the radio frequencies used to be scrambled/encrypted but since the FIA changed regulations its now open.
I had a little search around and found out that the frequencies change race on race obviously to catch out the other teams, and not to interfere with local networks.
However, i found a group on yahoo that posts frequencies each race weekend, so hopefully thats some use to you!

Why do people try to profit from the death of someone?
FIA started monitoring radio communication between the Team and the Driver after the 2002 Austrian Grand Prix, where Ferrari ordered Barrichello, to let Michael Schumacher pass by to increase his chances of winning the World title. After that race FIA started to scan all radio communicatiuons and imposed bans on team orders.More Questions & Answers...
