Which is the best bike in the world?
I grew up as a HUGE Nascar fan, but when I discovered Formula One, I became hooked. I still watch Nascar whenever I can, but F1 is my favorite. I love the idea that the governing body actually lets the teams and drivers compete. In Nascar, if you get a 'competitive advantage' they will try to take something away from you to level the playing field. In F1, if you design a better car, you get to race a better car. Same thing with drivers, in Nascar they add things like the 'luck dog pass' and the 'chase for the cup' to keep everyone competitive. In F1, if one guy is the best, he may win more than half of the races and nearly lap the field each week (See Michael Schumacher).F1 just feels like real racing, not a Sunday afternoon television program massaged to provide a photo finish.
The way to pick a favorite driver is to watch a few races, you will see the drivers interviewed and the way they race. Pick the one that appeals to you the most. I'm English so I have a natural tendancy to root for the British drivers and I like a Red Bull from time to time so I root for Red Bull Racing.
