Sure, the Mclaren is unreliable. But I don't know why Kimi's car is the one which breaks down more often, and not his mate's?
About Ferrari, Kimi is the quickest driver in F1. But it all depends on how much Kimi can help in the development of the new car, like Michael used to do.
And in F1, to win championships, you need to be patient, intelligent and able to handle all sorts of pressures, not just be quick.

I doubt whether its because of the car or because of kimis racing style that his car breaks down oftenin the last race also alonso was just ahead of kimi he should have waited for a chance instead he was pushing so hard that his car didnt last the whole race

Mclaren definitely got to do something about thier car..Definitely Kimi's style of driving is not suitable for that car either..
For his kind the car got to be reliable...I strongly feel Alonso is not that great driver as every one says...I dont mean that he is bad..
He is very good.But still i believe Kimi is the best.I think Alonso's success could be greatly attributed to the great reliable cars the Renault team manufactured for the last two years and also to some amount of luck..Renault engine and traction controls are very good and reliable compared to other teams. Kimi has talent and very little luck .And to suit his kind of driving there are only two cars in the present format...

Ferrari choses their second driver only after consultations with Schumi and i have heard somewhere that he kinda have a veto power over this issue.If thats the case i dont think he is gonna allow another great driver to challenge his authority which he now enjoys in Ferrari.

PS:Montoya is a very rash driver and not so talented as Kimi.U dont see his car developing problems as often because he is not so frequent as Kimi to be racing for podium finishes..Moreover he finishes his race with some kind of careless accidents..remember he took a 360 by mistake just before the qualifying lap of a race in this season.
F1 is a roller coaster. Up down up down. Ferrari has been down for almost 2 decades until it got its feet back. McLaren was down after senna left for a while. Got back up for a little bit. Back down now, but with alonso joining, don't be surprised if they get a lift next season by having a two time world champ driving for them. Yes currently one championship, but I'll go on a limb.
This year, McLaren doesn't stand much of a chance. With the leave of.I believe it was Adrian?.for Red Bull, McLaren truly have their work cut out for them in order to return to even last year's form. As far as Kimi, he will give both Schumi and Alonso a run for their money provided Ferrari stays as they are right now or go into a pre-2005 form.
