If you were Nicky Hayden, would you demand that Dani Pedrosa start looking for another team?
If your rookie teammate, who has been trying to one-up you the entire season, ruins your chances at a Moto GP title on purpose, would you demand he be fired? What do you think of Pedrosa's stupid attempt to "pass" on the paint when there was obviously no room? What's your opinion of Pedrosa now?

His move was way out of line, and was a totally boneheaded maneuver.
I hate to attribute the attempt as a "rookie" mistake. Once you've one a GP, you should be at the level where you know where not to try to pass on your teammate who's trying to win the championship.
I still think Pedrosa is a talented rider and is considered the prototype rider (horse jockey sized), that teams may be looking to recruit in the future. He could very well be a future MotoGP champion, but his mistake is one that will define his career if he never accomplishes it.
Nicky Hayden can demand all he wants, it doesn't mean that he'll get his way. Although Hayden's ahead of Pedrosa in the points, Pedrosa's season hasn't gone great but he has a much more promising future than Hayden. The fact of the matter is that Hayden isn't the best rider this season and shouldn't win the championship at all. 5 wins and 4 2nd place finishes for Rossi indicates he's much better than Hayden with his 2 wins (one by luck when Edwards crashed out at the last corner) and 3 2nd place finishes. If Rossi hadn't had those engine failures, the championship would have been decided already.
Hayden fans need to realize he's no more than an average motogp rider with the best bike on the grid.

i'm a really big fans of dani pedrosa. you should read the news in motogp.com that dani has already said sorry to nicky and all problems solved now. nicky said he'll need dani's help next in valencia to finish 1 and 2 so he could get world title. and dani did that caused repsol honda team didn't allow their riders to help each other. dani didn't mean to pass hayden after he realized there's no room but he lost his control so that incident happened.What is the differance between a dohc and a sohc header?
Hayden and Pedrosa are already contracted to be team mates for another 2 seasons and if anything Pedrosa would be first choice given that he and the team are Spanish. Never was a real fan of Pedrosa even in his 125 and 250 days because I was supporting Casey Stoner and have also been a huge Rossi supporter for years, but he showed that his critics they were wrong about him being too small for the bike BUT god only knows what he was trying to prove at that very moment.Trick Rocks makes A LOT of valid points!!

Nicky demanding Pedrosa be fired would not achieve any thing as both have contracts with Honda and Honda have made no secret of the fact that pedrosa is considered there star of the future.pedrosa undeniably made the biggest mistake of his career this weekend and hopefully he will learn from it, i do however believe he does not show Nicky the respect he deserves and needs to understand this season Nicky is Honda's only chance of winning the title and should support him as Colin Edwards did for Rossi.
would Nicky have won the title without pedrosa's intervention? i don't think so there is just something inevitable about the way Rossi is finishing the season.
i just hope we have a fair fight in the next one and no one messes with Nicky or Rossi

It was bad luck for both of them, Pedrosa is very good rider and I would do the same thing if I was him, Rossi had bad luck the whole season and he deserves to win the chapmionship anyway!!! Next season will be between Pedrosa and Rossi, Hayden sucks!!!What is world costier car on earth?
Well Nicky wont even attempt to demand for Dani to be fired, that's for sure knowing Nicky, anyway Pedrosa's attitude showed that he totally forgot about professionalism, lack of expertise, was he naive? I don't think so, he wanted to score as many points as he could, accident? perhaps, but could've been avoided YES, it was Dani's fault, some commentators were saying that Dani didn't like the way Nicky passed him, so Dani in a very selfish and IMHO stupid immature way returned the favour, so Dani not just made a huge mistake for his own interest and carreer, but managed to get his teammate's chance to win or at least get even closer to the title... fortunately Toni Elias had a great race and couldn't be stopped by Rossi's shield Colin Edwards, Colin helps Vale because Vale has made sure Colin keeps his job, that's all, hes not helping him because "that's what friends are for"or "teammates got to help each other" that romantized idea is for people that know jack about Moto Racing, oh please Moto GP is very competitive and in this biz nobody has friends, money talks and BS walks, but you can always show respect for the guy that has been testing parts for the 800cc prototype all year long (Nicky Hayden) even though Nicky was not considered a good developer in the past, he was chosen to be the developer for the 800cc, huge responsibility, dont you think? so the guy must be above an average rider as most people say when they refer to him, Nicky Hayden managed to end up 2nd and 3rd while testing parts, chassis etc, something Pedrosa didnt have to do courtesy of Alberto Puig, must be nice to have somebody to take you underneath his wings and fight for you in the HRC team against all the takeshis in HRC Honda which we all know is the toughest team in Moto GP...well Hayden doesnt have that, never have, but he kept on fighting like a legit contender to the title, stating that he won any race out of luck is out of the question, Nicky had consistency, he was on every podium, 2nd, 3rd, but he was there, that has its merit, I dont understand why most Rossi fans want to take that away from him..and that also includes the media which is mainly European..well no American would win a popularity contest these days, and thats a fact..
So whats next?? Dani had a raging case of immaturity and afterwards he apologizes to Nicky, oh Im so sorry, I will help you in Valencia?!! yeah right! give me a break.. seeing is believing...
At least one thing the gap is 8 points instead of 13, thanks to Elias, I wish Toni Elias to keep on winning races in the future, he's a courageous rider, honest with a cool personality.. his worst enemy are those freaky accidents and injuries, personally I want a NEW CHAMPION, its about time.. want to see the new blood win more races and there are great riders out there such as Marco Melandri, Toni Elias, Dani Pedrosa (despite his huge mistake, hes a great rider) Casey Stoner (if he would only calm down) Hopper (if he would take it more seriously) its a shame Lorenzo is staying in 250cc one more year..he's amazing..sorry Dovi.. Lorenzo has guts, Hector Barbera..the future is just around the corner...
