What's best way to lower 98 Sportster?

Short of new frame or cutting down existing frame. Where does a "Slam Kit" actually go on the bike, do I gain more inches if I lower the shocks too? Or is it 6 of 1 - 1/2 doz of the other??

check it bro,buy a ridgid frame from paughco mfg[700 dollars]and your ride will be in the weeds.OR get a set of chrome struts,this will ride ROUGH but lower it about 4 inches.Or call white Brothers and get their progressive shocks.[its a lowering kit]
