Legend in F1 = Winning several world championships while carrying a certain degree of charisma. As of now Kimi hasn't won any championships, yet. And as far as charisma, he needs to work on that as well.Look at another Finnish driver: Mika Hakkiinen. He won 2 championships, and nobody thinks of him as a legend.
So, Kimi has his work cut out. Ferrari can be the cathalizer for his rebirth. But only 7-10 years from now we will know if he is a legend or not. The premises are there, though. He is fast and a great driver, now able to dispose of a great car. But like everything else in life, which is valid for everybody: You need to be at the right place at the right time. Is he?

I think he has the talent, he will have the team, but he needs 3 things to become a legend. I reckon he will. He has already achieved something that no-one else has, and that is that he is usually referred to by his first name, whereas all the others are Alonso/Schumacher/Button/?/ Kimi!I believe he has charisma, but it's a Finnish type of Charisma which not many people understand. Finish people tend to be a little quieter and less flamboyant.
He certainly impressed me with his driving at the end of last year, when the Mclaren was working properly. He made some fantastic drives from the back of the grid.
He certainly has all the material to become a legend, but to be a legend in your own lifetime is very difficult. As someone else said, ask again in 8 years time.
