Has any driver ever wrecked into a Nascar pace car? Like in the movie Days of thunder.?
By winning special contests that go on during the race or because of advertising and sponsorship dollars. By special contests I mean the ones that award money to the best close call or the worst luck, the person that led the most laps etc. They have quite a few different ones that sponsors dream up to promote their products among the fans.By advertising and sponsorship dollars I meant the ads you see during the race that feature the drivers. They get paid quite a bit of money to promote the products of their sponsors too.
I know that some of the races sponsors, say like Raybestos or Outback, offer contingency awards for who they think made the move of the race, or most laps lead, or biggest mover. I also think that the some of the drivers may get bonuses from their own sponsors, because Jeff Gordon always seems to make a ton more than anyone, even if he's outside the Top 20...that's a theory anyway. The first part of my answer I believe is fact!
I am looking for the home page for ARB air lockers?
I tried to find the exact formula but was unable to do so. However I do know that certain drivers are paid more depending on programs that they or their car owners participate in. For example, the Coca-Cola Racing Family of Drivers is a promotion, and those drivers get more for their finishes than drivers not in that program. Same is true for the Gillette Young Guns promotion, the McDonald's pit crew challenge and many many more. Therefore a driver who finishes 20th may make more than someone who finishes 10th.Its All To Do With Sponorship
Who thinks someone in Nascar needs to beat Tony Stewart's *** to teach him a lesson?
just depends on the sponsors and the owners etcAre the cars and engines in F3 euroseries the same with any other f3 series?
Its the Decals on the car. That and where they are in ads...There's a couple reasons. When a driver leads the most laps or picks up the most positions, he wins money from the company that sponsors that mini-compitition. The second reason is the sponsorships that a driver has. Nascar pays every driver for the position he finished in. Then your sponsors pay you. Even if Jeff Gordon finishes last, Dupont will still pay Gordon quite a big sum of money. Now if Robby Gordon wins a race, his sponsors won't give him a lot of prize money because fruit of the loom isn't as wealthy as Dupont. If you have a lot of sponsors, then you will earn a lot more money after a race.
because they have better sponsors
OR
they might have done better earlier in a race
