From 2006 season, it is a 2.4 liter V8 engine. It can still achieve over 19 thousands RPM and near a top speed of 320 km/h. Horsepower is lower than pre-2006 season by about 150hp. Other restriction is that the total weight of the car must not exceed 600kg including full fuel load.
