Rothlisberger should have been wearing a helmet. Plain and simple. They've been proven to save lives, and even if the law says that a licensed rider doesn't have to wear a helmet, wouldn't common sense tell you to wear one anyway, especially as how he's being paid millions of dollars to do his job? And he didn't have a license to ride anyway!He needs to either get off the bike until he retires or wear the f**king helmet while he's riding.

I think he is irresponsible b/c of his status as role model. He just won the Super Bowl, so like it or not, some people are going to look up to him and immulate his behavior. He was fortunate. Other people are not going to be as fortunate in that same situation.

It was probably a little bit his fault and a little bit the fault of the other motorist. The hard truth is that most folks simply aren't very skillful drivers. Especially here in Florida. Haha. Most folks have VERY few driving skills and are not extremely coordinated. Just look at people in public sometimes when you are at the grocery store. It's amazing that some of those folks can even get out of bed and dress themselves. And THEY drive and the same road as US! Probably all drivers in NASCAR, Formula 1 and INDY laugh at how bad the general public drives out on public roadways. So again, it was probably the fault of Big Ben and the other driver.I think he's very irresponsible. If you're a football player you just don't go out riding something as dangerous as a motorcycle without a helmet. Whether you're experienced or not. Nor do you do any other extereme sport without proper protection when you know you are a key player on a team.

i think he was, they warned him about it and if he got hurt real bad he would have lost his job.no cuz it wasnt his fault at all n b4 his accident i wouldnt have thought bout it then when it happened i cried he is my quarterback i luv him k lol and now i dont wanna see people with out them however i rode a dirtbike witout a helmet a week ago so im not sure but i do know it wasnt his fault so i dont blame him
