they should drop it to just 4...then let's see what kind of race they have.Is Car Racing an absolute waste of oil?
Not true, they raced at one of the shortest tracks in the circuit, and still drove 43, I don't think there will ever be less than 43, nascar is a sponsor driven sport, and losing out on that money wouldn't make sense. There are more than 43 drivers, just only 43 in a race. on average 10 -15 drivers don't qualify for the race, only the 43 fastest do.Ideally, there would be a formula based on the length of the track, but that's not going to happen. Too much money is involved in the sport and with the "top-35" exemption each week, there need to be at least a couple of open spots available. The deletion of some of the provisionals have helped.
How many of u like Kasey Kahne? well i'm kinda a fan,but my friend caroline.she more of a fan!?
I guess the number of 43 starters must be a tribute to Richard Petty, but yet to see or hear anything to confirm that. Just a few years ago the field was limited to 42 with the 43rd going to the 'most recent previous Champion' only. It used be the Field was decided on the size track and what it would be safe to run, smaller tracks would have a smaller field, while the larger tracks would have as many as 50 starters. The very first Southern 500 at Darlington in 1950 had a field of 75 cars. The current size of 43 cars is about right, maybe the tracks of less than a mile have a hard time with that number, but doubt that the field will ever be reduced. Still not a fan of 'provisionals' though, I feel if you can't qualify, you don't belong in the program.Help. Looking for a nissan logo steering wheel cover? Like the ones in your local autozone?

It's great that you want to know more about NASCAR and everything. If you ever have a question just ask me!!! Anyway, back on task, they will never drop the amount of drivers(43) in NASCAR because then it just would not be a good race. If alot of people wreck they still need alot of people to race for the win. Well i hope that helped. Remember just ask. I know some racers personaly. Don't care as long as Tony Stewart stays in!How does formula 1 qualifying work?
I like the idea of limiting the number of drivers based on how large the track is. Something like Pocono or Daytona could easily hold many more cars ... make it like a Bristol or Martinsville with the conveyor, only faster. At the largest tracks, I say anyone who shows up with a car that will pass inspection gets to race. What is the best all around 2006 pickup to buy?

here are all the drivers that have started this year, alot of them huh?nascar is a big money sport.sponsors pay millions of dollars to put their names on cars, because of this it is likely we will see no less than 43 cars in a race.

I m looking 4 FormulaOne upcoming race schdule with local time ( singapore )?
Nascar should dictate the amount of qualifying cars to the number of pit stalls that could safely accomodate them.If they had to I say 42 cars.
