are you able to get close to watch it like other rallys or whats the story?

No sorry haven't been to the Dakar Rally but I saw it on Speed TV and it looks pretty remote in some places only the helicopter could get to but in the city portions people got real close just like the WRC BTW anyone know where to watch the rallies on TV? I haven't seen any rallies this year on TV...

Yes, I too noticed no WRC on Speed channel this year. I am very disappointed. I want to see those races!! If anyone knows if any US channels have broadcasting deals with WRC, info would be appreciated.
