What's in your opinion the best BMW ever?

Mayfield no longer driving the #19 car??

The 2002 series in the 1970's was great, but BMW has improved so much in the last decade in technology and reliability that the best car is almost certainly a current or recent model. I think the X-series are not that exciting, but the 6-series is an amazing sports couple. I would personally choose the M6 as the best BMW ever.
