Do you think that NASCAR'S Nextel Cup point system is messed up ? Kasey Kahne win he won the most races .?
Do you think that the person with the most wins should lead the points ? Kasey Kahne has won the most races up to this point so how come he doesn't have the points lead ? That seems messed up to me

This is kind of off topic, but I agree with Kenny Wallace that the Chase drivers should have their own point system...

It's not about how many races that you win, it's about performing consistently every weekKahne may have won 6 races, but he only has 17 top 10's with an average finish of 15.5 definitely not good enough to be champion.
Why does everyone praise nascar so much!!!?
It is all about consistency. You can win the championship and never have a win just finish in the top 5 or 10 all year long. But if he has had DNFs you get no points for that and when ya finish in the back very little points. A few years back Ryan Newman had a horrible 1st part of the season and then the 2nd half had more wins then anyone throughout the season and he was still not even in the top 10 so it is really all about consistency.Does anyone know where to ATV ride in the beach in Northern CAL?
Well I agree with u the whole point system is messed up to me too.Kasey has been doing really good up until last sunday and he was still in 8th after all the top 10 races he finished and I didnt understnd that too.I would like to say I wish Kasey was in the lead cuz he has won the most races but it will never happen like that it seems.I'm a BIG Hurri-Kahne fan but Its soo sucks he isnt gonna win this year. That would have been a huge thing for him.I'm proud of him for being the only Dodge in it this yr tho and doing so well this no matter what, even after his driver error.:-)I like your point. And really it should matter how many races you have won. Look at when Tony Stewart won the championship last year, he had the most wins and won the title. So Kasey Kahne should be in first place bot Matt Kenseth with Jimmie Johnson only twenty six points behind.
How did Danica Patrick do at the Indy 500?Whast?
Even though he has won the most races this year he has not had consistent finishes. How do I become a mechanic/technician on a GT series BMW pit crew?
leading the most races does not make you the best driver. Matt kenseth has been leading with ten to go about ten races this season. Sometimes winning races is luck, depending on strategy and stuff. Winning 5 races and finishing 40th ten times does not make you a good driver. I think it is fine the way it is. Kenseth has been most consistent, and that means he is the best driver. He has also won 4 races, and should have won four more. Jeff gordan wrecked him at chicago with 3 to go. Jeff Burton passed him at dover with 4 to go to win. If you honestly think kasey kahne should be first in points, go back and check the statsi really like the new system. it does keep things interesting. lets take the busch series for example. still like 4 races left and we already know that kevin harvick one. why even continue the season. no point in it.
Why is the NASCAR race "The Subway 500" only 312 miles?
How many DNF's did he have? What about finishes outside the top twenty? That is why he is not leading.I don't think that the Cup series' points system is messed up. Kasey Kahne may have the most wins but that does not mean that he should be the champion. I do not think that the person with the most wins should lead the points because that is not right.
With the Chase, it doesn't matter how many races you win...it's about being consistent. Last year Tony Stewart didn't win any races in the Chase and he still won the championship and that is because he was consistent.
Kasey hasn't been consistent throughout the Chase and that is why he is in 9th place right now. Just because he has all those wins does not make him a champion.
If you're driving faster than the speed of sound, can you still listen to the radio?
Yes, wins should be rewarded with more points. However, Kahne also has 9 finishes of 30th or worse! So, the system still rewards consistency, and consistency should be rewarded more than just winning.it doesn't matter how many races you win. it's how well you run every week. look at greg he won the most races last season and didn't wi it either. even if they were still under the old way he may still not be leading it. i think rusty had only won one race back in the 80's and he won the title. so it doesn't matter on how many races you win.
Michael Schumacher, He wasn't THAT evil was he?
No, because it's consistency, not about how many you win. Kahne may have 6 wins, but hasn't finished well in quite a few races, especially with engine problems.no its not because he may have won the most races but he has a had alot of bad luck and hasent been consistent. Look at Jr only won 1 race and he's in third. I know it seems unfair but its really not. Kahne is younger and newer and wants wins wins wins where jr and sum other guys just want the finishes.
