Who do you consider to be the greatest Formula 1 driver of all time?
There is no doubt in my mind that the late great Ayrton Senna of Brazil was the greatest F1 driver ever. Who is your pick?

What a lovely question and comment,Mac!Thank you very much for them!:):)I agree with you that Ayrton Senna, known as Ayrton Senna do Brasil(of Brazil)was the greatest F1 driver ever!
How much joy he gave to us,Brazilians! And,I believe,to many people from all around the world!
Football(soccer)is called "Brazilian national passion" but F1 is very much liked here, probably because we've had more than thirty years of happy moments with our gret drivers.
I began watching the races when I was about nine and Emerson Fitippaldi was well on his way of becoming the first Brazilian to be a World Champion, two years later.Friends and family would meet at one of our homes to watch the race together.
My Dad loves sports and enjoy F1 so,whenever I can,I join him,even for a while at a time,on weekends.
For ten years,Senna gave us countless moments of joy and became the star of Brazilian Sundays. (sorry,God!;) )
He was a very special human being, besides being a great driver. The Ayrton Senna Institute, founded by him,has been helping and supporting Brazilian children for many years, now. They do a wonderful job!
And he was a very sweet person and a "good boy".We used to say he was the son every mother dreams of.
The day Senna died,at Imola,I was alone at home, watching the race.My Mom and Dad had to go out to visit a friend and I told my Dad:"Don't worry,I'll watch the race for us both and tell you all when you come back!"They came back home minutes after Senna crashed his car at the Tumburello turn.No one knew for sure if he was still alive or not.I felt immediately that he would not survive.I was crying silently when my Dad came into the room and looked at me.He asked nothing.I said no word.No need.We knew.We just hug each other and cried together.
Well, after taking a few minutes to recompose myself,I'd like to thank you again,my dear friend, for your lovely question and all the good memories!
Ta very much,Mac!:):)

Has to be Senna. He set the records for those who followed. He had a passion for racing that too few drivers will ever match. He was a true racer not just a driver.Great question.

Who is going to win the nascar race today?
All I can answer is based on who I have seen drive. In that case 1 is Senna and 1A is Schumacher. But reading about drivers from the past I wonder how Fangio, Clark, Nuvolari and others would rate. Will jr ever be as good as his dad, dale earnhardt sr??.?
Senna closely followed by Schumacher.Paul Tracy.
