I think Eddie Jordan should keep his trap shut...?
Question:The king of shams(Eddie Jordan), who's life has been one set of smoking mirrors after another should look in the mirror as to a life that has been nothing more than 1-PR stunt after another.
This first-class shuckster has a lot of nerve to say Mika's return has been nothing more than a PR stunt. F1 in general(like most racing) is nothing more than a PR stunt, and he knows this better than anything.
Sports has nothing to do with being a professional sportsman, but is nothing but a business. Period.
Jordan does not have the bucks to play with the big-boys anymore, and his opinion is as invalid as yesterdays gossip columns. It must suck for him to be on the sidelines now.

Far be it for me to be an Eddie Jordan apologist, however, all the teams he started from scratch - Formula Ford, Formula 2000, Formula Three, Formula 3000 and Formula One - all won either races and championships (some won both), hardly something you would expect from someone "who's life has been one set of smoking mirrors after another." (I'm familiar with smoke and mirrors, but what are "smoking mirrors"? Perhaps they came with Eddie's Benson and Hedges sponsorship!).
When I hung around F1 paddocks, Eddie was well respected and, while he's no longer actively involved with a team, it would appear he does have the credentials to offer an opinion (one that was solicited) on Mika Hakkinen's test. Whether or not you agree and it really isn't important, that test does seem like it was designed to create headlines.
Can you mix conventional motor oil with synthetic motor oil?

What is your favourite circuit in Formula 1?
- Do you really know anything about F1. Sports has nothing to do with being a professional sportsman? Whats that supposed to mean. Have you ever watched a F1 race - by the sound of you I doubt it very much you do not seem very knowledgeable and I think maybe you should keep quiet until you are up to date with formula one.Who can tell me what drivers caused a caution on purpose?
Chill out my friend. Obviously, Mika is not going to return to F1. Therefore, he really has no reason to be driving an F1 car. So, why put him in one? Is it because of his valuable input? I don't think so. Former world champion or not, his opinion these days is about as valuable as mine ("his opinion is as invalid as yesterdays gossip columns. It must suck for him to be on the sidelines now."-applies to Mika too.), current experience is what counts. But, oh boy, did they get a lot of press out of it. Therefore it is a publicity stunt, that's what a publicity stunt is. Nobody, including EJ, is putting them down. It is true, that he doesn't have the money to play anymore, but he was among the last men standing from the privateer era, so give him some credit.Need help with a master cylender on a 66 rambler?
You have some nerve saying this. As someone said earlier have you ever watched formula 1. Eddie Jordan was one of the great characters of f1 and i for one wish he had the money to make a comeback. And if you say that his opinion doesn`t count, then what is the point of this website? as our opinion is probably even less valuable than Eddie`s. Mika was and i`d guess still is a great racer. No they won`t bring him in to race but so what? They have generated interest and publicity which is what they set out to do.What is the average lap tiime for a daytona 500 lap?
Eddie Jordan was right about Mika's test, by the way, speedchannel.com, had an editorial that said the same thing that Eddie Jordan said, since all the seats are filled even if Mika could have laid done a competitive time they wouldn't have been able to give him a ride. So, in many ways it was a PR stunt. I would love to see Mika make a return, he was one of only a rare few drivers that made schumi really work hard.Regarding Eddie Jordan: I don't follow the off track circus of F1 enough to really be able to judge him but in Alex Zanardi's autobiography he has very little good to say about EJ. He certainly has the experience in F1 to have an educated opinion.
