Do you think Alex Zanardi will return in F1?

I have seen some days ago that Zanardi had driven a Williams car. From my point of view, I hope he will not come back in to the Championship. For God's sake he had had his both legs amputed!!! You must be crazy to drive again a Formula 1 car!!! What do you think about this?

Do you know the right adresse of valentino rossi in london?

Actually it was a specially-modified BMW-Sauber that Alessandro (please don't refer to him as Alex) Zanardi drove at Valencia on the weekend and the whole episode was designed more for publicity, a photo op and a bit of a courtesy to Zanardi rather than a legitimate test.
You won't see him back racing in Formula One and for a number of reasons, including the fact that wearing prostheses prevents him for exiting an F1 car within the prescribed time limit.
I think he's happy driving touring cars and he did finish ninth recently at Macau (in the second race), driving a BMW 320si, just 10 seconds behind the winner.

My nascar fantasy team?

I consider his return in the F1 cockpit as one of the biggest acts of bravery in motorsport history (only surpassed by Lauda's recovery in 1976). But to call him crazy for returning into a F1 car is rubbish. It's way too harsh. But he proved in 2003-2006 that he has got over his accident and his disability.

He won't return in F1 for 2 simple reasons: hand throttle is banned and he is 40 years old.

What does jimmie johnson's engineer brock look like and i know his main is one is grubb.?

No, he won't be back in a competitive ride in any open-wheel series ever again, but that does not in any way diminish what he's accomplished. He's having a pretty good time racing touring cars for BMW, and this test was just a reward for him to honor his work for BMW and his spirit in never giving up on his dreams.

Call him crazy all you want ... those of us who have been lucky enough to meet and work with him know better. He's a diamond in the rough and is one of the best guys you could ever hope to meet in any profession.

If we all had 10 percent of the courage and integrity that Alex Zanardi possesses, the world would be a far better place.

When does the new f1 season start?

Not likely.

Do u think fisichella has d potential 2 bcum d world champion?

Point of correction,he drove a BMW,not the Williams. It wil be a thrill to see him drive;but unfortunately, thats not going to happen. One factor he has to contend with,is age.Again, the problems with sponsors. After he regained consciousness after the incident,he said he dreamt of riding an F1 car.He did it ,maybe to fulfil the dream.

Nascar Nextel New Hampshire...?

No. That thing where he got into the BMW car was only a publicity stunt. That BMW was HEAVILY modified, and probably wouldn't pass F1's strict inspection process.

plus, i don't think it would be possible to control the throttle and brake with your hands, as well as steer, shift gears, etc.

Im gonna be 29 this month sometime soon and my b/f is 35?

No, not only is he unable to get out of the car unaided in the required time, but also he wasn't that good when he was in F1 anyway. It would just be a publicity stunt to employ him in any driving capacity.

Yahoo Autos is this for real and secure?

may b he wl join f1 again

Why is auto racing so popular?

I used to hate him, then I loved him, then I felt terrible for him when he went to F1, because of the lack of success. When he lost his legs after he came back over here, I was mortified. When he started racing again, I was astounded, most folks who lose their legs never drive again, much less race a car. He's done so much, he doesn't need to race in F1 to prove anything about himself to me. Also, if the car was on fire, he wouldn't be able to get out and with his hands so busy while driving, it would be so easy for another driver to punt him off the track.

What is the drivers name for car # 26 in the 2005 brickyard 400 at the indianapolis motor speedway?

No he will not return to F1 as full time driver but do not be suriprised to see him in a test role though.

I am looking for Bernie Ecclestone's address.?

I think that Zanardi was testing the car as a bit of a novelty item for him or a photo op for the team and Zanardi. It was good to see that he was able to get out there and do it, but the field is so compeditive now that he would stand a chance of doing well enough to keep a ride.

Why is it that Ray Evernham's drivers suck?

I don't think Zanardi will ever return to F1. Most importantly, the F1 rules strictly prohibit the modified controls that he would need. Also, when he was in F1 he really didn't perform very well (not always his fault though) so he doesn't have a great reputation in F1 to begin with so I don't know whether he would land a contract. In reading his autobiography he also seems to really dislike much of the off track team politics and circus that surround F1. He is definitely not scared to drive professionally or else he would have retired or simply done something else. He should be respected for his tenacity in coming back to the level he is at today.
I would bet that he would get a ride in NASCAR before he ever starts in F1 again.

Someone said M. Schumacher, the 7 championship winner of F1 GP won the 1997 or 1998 season by hitting?

I don't think he'd be eligible for a super licence now. You have to be able to remove the steering wheel, get out and put the wheel back in 10 seconds. Not easy even with legs. Alessandro is the nicest person in real life, and his "recovery" so far has been amazing. That said, look at Martin Donnelly he isn't allowed a super licence either due to injuries sustained at Jerez in 1990, but he is still involved in motor racing, so I expect Alessandro to be around somewhere if not as a driver as a manager/maybe a tester (doubtful) or even a team owner.

1991 cutlasssupreme speedo does not work it flickers on off or not at all?

Yes, there are some rumors about him returning to William F1. The drivers find it very hard to keep-up the phase, I can't imagine him racing with both his legs amputed. Sure he has got a lot of will power.

Who would like to buy 2 tickets for the Ft Worth IRL race ?

I think the point that everyone is missing here is that it was not a Formula 1 car he was driving. It was a formula BMW which is entirely different to an F1 car. He cannot drive an F1 car in current regs as he uses a hand throttle which is illegal in F1. Not to mention the getting out of the car thing mentioned by so many others. They fact is, he wouldn't be able to drive the car, let alone get out of it in case of emergency.
