For NASCAR Motor racing fans; Do they award Nextel Cup points for qualifying in any position except the pole?
I know the pole position gets points towards the Nextel cup but how about second, or third, or top ten? If so how many?

Actually, you don't get points for being on the pole. If you start on the pole and get the lead on the first lap, then you will get 5 bonus points for leading the first lap. The only thing the pole position gets is bragging rights and being in front of the rest of the pack.no
