It's the number of Indianapolis 500 winners to capture Daytona 500 crowns. Mario Andretti won first in Daytona, in 1967, before capturing an Indy victory two years later. Four-time Indy winner AJ. Foyt won the Daytona in 1972, the midpoint between his third and final victories.
For those of you who say Sarah Fisher made no impact in the IRL?
I should know this - but I'm not sure and I won't cheat and look it up online...I would have to say if anyone - probably AJ Foyt - I can't think of any other cross-over drivers... Tony Stewart never won the Indy 500, although he did compete several times.
