Giants or Marlins?

Question:Who would you prefer and who do you think is better? Im having an agruement with my friend about this his favorite team is the Marlins mine is the Giants. He brags when they were 2-0 and now im giving him a taste of his own medicine about Fred Lewis.

My opinion is that the Giants are better, but then again I am a born and raised Giants fan. Not only did Fred Lewis hit for the cycle and have a 5 for 6 game, Frandsen had a 4 hit game, Omar passed Ozzie Smith as the SS involved in the most double plays. We beat the Rockies 15-2 with basically all second strings in. We have a player chasing the home run record, and has already broken the single season one! We won 103 games in 93, and didn't go to the playoffs because no wild card then. We have, except for at 3rd, a strong infield who is able to back our strong, and young, pitching staff. And we have guys in the field who will throw their older bodies around anywhere to save a play if they can. Definitely the Giants. Who watches the Marlins anyway?

Does anyone know how much the redsox traded Babe Ruth for to the Yankees?

I prefer the marlins because they dont have Barry Bonds on their team.

Both teams are anchored by great starting rotations, but their lineups are completely opposite, the Giants are old and the Marlins are young. Bullpens are a wash cuz neither teams is very good, I'd still give the Giants the edge though as a better team because they bring out a competitive team every night, and with their rotation, they have 5 starters that give them a ligit chance to win everytime out, which I don't think the Marlins have.
