Why isn't A-Rod getting more hits?

Question:Yes, i know he's hitting Home Runs, and I'm well aware of that. But look at this...

APR 5 - 1 for 5
APR 6 - 1 for 4
APR 8 - 1 for 3
APR 9 - 1 for 4
APR 10 - 1 for 3
APR 11 - 1 for 3
APR 14 - 1 for 4

He's only had three games with multiple hits.

It seems like A-Rod is only getting 1 hit (HR) per 4-5 at bats. I'm afraid if he keeps this up and doesn't go for the base hits, he's going to end up popping up alot of the clutch at bats. If he hits a home run, and there still own by 2 or so, and he's up, based on stats, he's not going to get another hit.
