What do Ebbets Field and Fenway Park have in common?

Question:This is a question on my sports management test..,

Answers:

Who is the pitcher with the most strike outs in a game in all history of baseball ?

The small seating capacity and huge fan base would certainly be one thing in common. At the end, Ebbets Field packed them in like sardines the same way Fenway has since 1912.

I'm not sure that this would be included on a sports management test, but when the Dodgers left New York for a larger park in Los Angeles, Ebbets field was demolished and an apartment complex was built, which is now considered to be a significant moment in baseball history: the end of an era in baseball.

As talk about Fenway being demolished goes on and on and on, many liken it to the demolition of Ebbets Field. Fenway being the oldest park (actually opened the year before Ebbets Field) leads many to lament the possibility of losing such a historic ballpark.

I suppose the correlation could be made that as popularity increases, and the seating:fan ratio expands exponentially, the talk of ignoring the history and focusing on the potential for revenue becomes a part of any major league ballpark's management strategy.

three bags and a plate ?

How do you think the Brewers will do this year?

Ebbets was the smallest park, by seating capacity, in the NL. Fenway is still the smallest in the AL.

Also, it's impossible to buy a ticket at face value from the box office. Fenway is sold out through 2012, and Ebbets is a parking lot.

How many homers do you expect from Ryan Howard this season?

Ebbets Field and Fenway Park should both be parking lots. Real answer, both are small capacity stadiums.
