Do you think Barry Bonds cheated with steroids and should be thrown out of baseball?

Question:Or at the least, if he passes Aaron, that it shouldn't count?

Keep in mind that he's never failed a steroid test.

Can yall help with my fantasy baseball second baseman dilemma?

not thrown out of baseball, but his stats should be reduced

Any active starting pitchers with great success after Tommy John surgery?

YES and YES hes not natural any more he should have been gone a long time ago

What baseball team do you like more?..?

He's also never taken a steriod test and lied before congress. He should be locked up for contempt.

What is better? Yankees doing bad or Brewers doing very well?

I'd have to see clear proof that shows for sure that he used steroids. If and when that happens, his accolaides for all of his accomplishments should be taken back or reduced drastically. Thrown out? If we started throwing out all the athletes who used steroids (in most US sports), we'd have hardly anyone!

Is this the best way to eliminate the steroids controversy and Home Run records?

He is a cheating, lying, lazy thug with a terrible attitude. Over night, he went from being a skinny contact hitter to a monstrous slugger with tons of power. Anybody with a brain knows steroids are the only reason he is even close to Hank Arron's record. Maybe he shouldn't be thrown out of baseball, but his homerun record should not be counted.

Are the Nationals the worst team ever?

i think he should have 3 years worth of home runs taken away. when he passes him, it wont count in my book.

Why are the Colorado Rockies so bad year after year?

He still admitted to "unknowingly" taking the steriod, but he didn't know what it was! During grand jury testimony! But anyways! He is not the kind of imbassador that should hold the record, and if he knowningly or unknowningly took steriods he has certainly grown! Get him out of the game! Save the game!

Can i use cooking oil to break in baseball glove?

Unless you can prove that all the pitchers that he hit off of were not also using steroids...it has to stand.

I love baseball...but people have been "bending" the rules forever (and getting away with it). Examples are: Spitballs, Corked bats, Balls put in the freezer so they do not fly as far, dome stadium air conditioning "blowing in" while the opponent is batting. In each of these examples you are swinging the balance of skill in one teams favor...There has never been definitive proof that being stronger makes you hit better (if that were true, strongmen would play baseball, and that is not the case). Bonds hit the home runs...let him have the record (even though he is a jerk...results are results).

"what qualifies as a "Save" for a pitcher in baseball?"?

If you are going to condemn Barry then they need to do the same thing to baseball, they owners know who were on steroids and they didn't have a problem with it. this bashing Bonds is really getting old!

What do you think the value of Barry Bond's 756th home run ball(if he achieves the record) will be worth?

yes i do think Barry had taken steroids, okay look at it this way back in the day he was a skinny little dude, now he is huge, u just dont get that big that fast

What is week one's biggest surprise?

And Hank Aaron should have an asterisk next to his home run record, too, since he took far more games to break the babe's record.

Worst team ERA to win the World Series?

What to do with Barry Bonds will be a question for the ages. Most everyone believes that Bonds is taking or has taken illegal and/or a banned substance. That being said, since he has never failed a test there is nothing for him to defend and he is home free. Should something come to light in the future I believe the baseball powers would quickly distance themselves and he would never get into the Hall-of-Fame. However, his accomplishments are what they are and those numbers will be left behind for people like you and me and our grandchildren to debate for eternity.

Are there any mets fans here?

The only thing Barry Bonds is guilty of at this point is...being a total jerk. He has always been one of my favorite players (I am a lifelong Pittsburgh Pirates fan, rooting for Bonds when he was just an arrogant jerk). He may or may not have used steroids or HGH, but that is not up to us to decide. I will not cast stones until I know the facts, and the facts are that while Bonds has indeed failed an amphetamines test, he has not failed a steroids test. For all his faults, he is one of the best players of his generation, and among the 25 best of all time. People may not like the idea of Bonds besting Henry Aaron's home run record (I don't, but for different reasons, mainly for all the b.s. Aaron had to go through to beat Babe Ruth's mark, including death threats, hate mail, and ruthless racism. Aaron nevertheless was strong and brave during the whole ordeal, and for that, I commend him for being graceful when he could have been flat out defiant and angry), but the cards are where they lie. Deal with it and move on.

Hot Dogs at MLB games?

Yes, yes and yes.

Why isn't brad penny in the starting rotation for the Dodgers?

I haven't seen any proof yet that he has cheated.

Do you root for the Cubs to lose so Lou will spazz out?

If he tested positive for steriod use, then he should be kicked out of baseball. All of his stats should be thrown out, or at least up until the time he started using 'roids. If he lied before congress, then he should go to jail too. This goes for any player that is doing the 'roid.

If he isn't using, then he deserves the record, but if he used at all, then it should be thrown out, but only Barry knows if he used or not. There are ways to cheat the test, and he might have gotten away with it each time.

MLB Playoff format? Yes ot No.?

ok they have proven he has done roids bc when ur an adult ur head and feet stop growing right well bonds just got bigger that and major cuase from riods

MLB quistion?

I dont think he should be thrown out of baseball but he shouldnt be in the hall of fame nor should he get the home run award either. What is that teaching our younger kids?

How do you think the Reds will do this year?

Look at his rookie card, he's about a foot taller now and about 3 feet wider. It's hard to get that big on weights alone. Plus the guys a jerk off. Besides no one really cares if he breaks Aarons record, just like no one cared when he hit 72 or whatever see I dont even remember what it was.

Which former NBA player played for the toronto blue jays before starting his NBA career?

Why should we pick on Bonds when MLB is the real guilty party here?

MLB has known for years that players have been taken performance enhanced substances of various kinds but they did not care. They did not care do to the amount of revenue that was and is being made from all of the players that were and are hitting the ball out of the parks and drawing fans.

Think about it. Who do fans go to see? Pujols, Ortiz, and Howard. Guys who bring the thunder.

This is baseball current policy on steroids.
• First positive test: 10 days.
• Second positive test: 30 days.
• Third positive test: 60 days.
• Fourth positive test: One year.

Are you kidding? This is MLB's discreet was of saying, "Yes" you can use steroids but just don't get caught.

If they were so upset about steroids ruining the game, they would ban any player caught using them period. But no. MLB is not about to let steroids get in the way of them making money.

As for Bonds, the man used a cream for a short term and is really not being punished for that. Barry is being punished for being a jerk to baseball, his teammates, the fans, and the media for many years past. This is just an opportunity for everyone to get back at him and smear his name as much as they can.

Trying to make this man the poster child for steroids is a complete joke! MLB should be the one you people are angry with.

Mlb 2k7???

As you say, there is no test that he's ever failed. And if we say that Bonds did do steroids, and that he shouldn't be allowed the HR record, we should probably also acknowledge the fact that there are also pitchers who use today and find many ways to gain an advantage.

Personnally, I think it will be a sad day for baseball if Bonds does break the HR record. On the other hand, Ty Cobb is in the Hall (I think), and he was a complete A-hole.

What year did albert pujols sign with the cardinals?

osma_bin? what kind of screen name is that? bonbds did not take tests because they were not give as often back in the day of cheating! he jsut never got caught! tell me, how can an athlete get older, yet get bigger, stronger, and hit 73 home runs> tell me that!! he cheated and is 1. a liar 2 cheater 3 biogot 4 criminal 5 immoral and 6 should have been kicked out years ago! it is too late now!! he will be tainted with record when he gets it and not even henry aaron will go out of way to congratulate him!! this tell me that henry aaron, ddep dowmn, knows that bonds is a punk and cheat! anyone who likes barry the bigot bonds is also a black bigot and fool!

What is the nearest mlb team to nampa id?

i think barry bonds shouldnt be kicked out because he is so close to catchin hank aaron. and plus he is one of the best players in he league at hittin that is. in my opinion

How long do they wait until a game is considered postpponed in MLB?

I don't see why people think Bonds should be kicked out of baseball for allegedly taking steroids. The rules simply state that a player is to be given a suspension if he fails a test. One would have to fail a test 3 times in order to be banished from the game, yet, so many people want to kick Bonds out even though he hasn't even failed one test. So it's not a Bonds question, it is a MLB question. It looks like what people really want is for the league to change the rules. So that being said, what does Bonds have to do with it? Why aren't these same people shouting out from the sidelines that Alex Sanchez, Jose Piedra, Juan Rincon, Rafael Palmiero, Ryan Franklin, Felix Heredia, Matt Lawton, Jason Grimsley, Guillermo Mota, and others who I can't think of right now, should be thrown out of baseball, since, after all, they've all actually tested positive for steroids in their careers? If people are truly irked by drug use in baseball and not just a "Bonds Hater," the real complaint should be against the league's current policy and all those who tested positive should suffer the same fate that seemingly so many people want to apply to Bonds. Otherwise, it is a misguided argument obviously aimed at condemning a certain player, and not truly attacking the problem which is supposedly the basis for their argument.

Should John Smoltz be in the Hall of Fame?

I don't know. Honestly I think he is doing them, but it's hard to say when there isn't any proof. Unfortunatly, it doesn't seem that we'll find out any time soon... so he might pass Aaron, and we may never really know the truth. He may pass him right up, and if he does no one will really care. I mean how many people out there honestly believe he earned it, and worked for it. I mean yes, her worked for it, but he did it by cheating. No one is going to care because Aaron did it first, and did it with no accusations against him.

Does anyone know where the Texas Rangers stay in Chicago?

THERE IS NO WAY HE CHEATED AND EVEN IF THERE IS SOMEO MAGICAL WAY HE DID U CANT KICK HIM OUT OF BASEBALL BECAUSE THEN U WOULD HAV TO KICK ALMOST EVERY OTHER PLAYER BECAUSE IT IS JUST THE STANDARD LEVEL OF PLAY

Has money, greed, and steroid scandal ruined the game of baseball?

re/sanction policy

10/30/60/full year was the old policy -- that's what Palmeiro served in 2005 -- but it has since been replaced by 50 games / 100 games / permanent (with two-year moratorium to apply for reinstatement, to be heard by a neutral arbiter).

When a major league baseball player is out of options and is traded to another team. Is that player still out?

Assuming he took steroids (and neither I nor any other person answering the question knows if he did. We can suspect, but we don't know.) my answer is "no" since taking them at the time people say he did was not against the rules. You can't legitimately be called a cheater if you didn't break a rule. And since testing has been in place he hasn't tested positive. Whatever records he gets are his to keep until someone comes along and takes them from him.

6.In Major League Baseball, who has the most career home runs without ever playing in a World Series?

HE'S MAY NEVER HAVE FAILED A STEROID TEST BUT HE'S GOTTEN MUCH BIGGER SINCE HIS EARLY DAYS WITH THE PIRATES. HIS HEAD HAS BLOWN UP TO THE SIZE OF A BALLOON IN THE MACY'S THANKSGIVING DAY
PARADE. HE HAS GOTTEN MUCH STRONGER & THAT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN AS YOU GET OLDER. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT GREG ANDERSON? AS BONDS' TRAINER HE MUST BE HIDING SOMETHING TO KEEP
GOING TO PRISON FOR BONDS. HE MUST LIKE IT THERE.

In (MLB) baseball, what is meant by a hitter reaches on force attempt, throwing error?

I have to agree with Romulus. What else is there to say.
