Yankee Rotation?
Question:With Carl and Moose on the DL the Yanks are going to be looking for some help and soon...Chase Wright is already coming up to make a start for them, but do you think that there is any chance this is the time that they bring Phillip Hughes up to see what he can do?

Do triple A ball players and minor leaguers get paid? if so...How much?
As I stated in my latest blog post, Cashman has made it clear to win from the bottom up. Hughes will not be rushed into a starter role as to protect his arm for the future of the Yankees organization.Replacing Mussina and Pavano are Chris Britton (AAA), and Chase Wright (AA).
Hughes might, BIG might, have a late season appearance in August, if not then, then next year for sure.
i don't think so, because they seem to be committed to protecting hughes and not pushing him...i happen to live right in the scranton/wilkes-barre area, home of the yankees AAA affiliate(where hughes is playing), and he hasn't exactly been spectacular, so that only makes it more likely that he will stay down
as for filling the rotation, wright will make a start and they will go with four guys for now(they brought up a reliever to fill the other roster spot)until jeff karstens comes off the dl, then they will have a decision as to what to do
Why do pitchers wear a jacket if they get on base?
I don't think we'll rush Hughes. I think we're banking on him to be our ace for many years to come, otherwise we'd have traded him by now. Besides, the kid seems to have a good head on his shoulders, and should keep healthy and get better.I played pool for awhile with a guy by the name of Brien Taylor. If you don't know who he is, look him up on the internet. As long as Hughes can avoid the mistakes Brien made, we'll be great for next year. This year I think we just need to score major runs with that lineup. I wouldn't be surprised to see a middle reliever like Proctor finish with 8-10 wins.
