What mlb player won back to back mvp titles?
well surprise team, id like to say milwaukee, but to me they arent much of a surprise. they have a good nucleus of players. they need sheets to stay healthy if they want to be a good team this yr. as far as surprise player, you have to hand it to josh hamilton. the kid's really opened up some eyes and is a true inspiration to all.Why is the Red Sox Baseball Stadium called "Fenway Park"?
Biggest suprise the Cubs after all the money they spent they are losing yet again.Sammy will have no major impact Baltimore will finish near the bottom again.
I think Bonds will suprise people with an outstanding year at the plate yet again.
Well I am hoping that the Cubs take the NL Central and the Brewers take the wild card. But I'm not sure just how likely the Cubs are to make it, but anyway...I like seeing underdog teams win. *btw...this is coming from a Giants fan*
Yes I do think Bonds should have come back and hope he breaks the hr record this year (he probably will). And btw Sosa already has got some mojor league playing time in this year and I think he has 2hrs so far this season and, we will just have to wait and see how valuable he will be to the Rangers.
GO GIANTS!
Bonds has admitted to using steroids, remember?
First of all, the biggest surprise in the NL Central is and will be the Pirates. They have started the year winning games against good opposition. They also have been competitive in almost every game with the exception of one or two. Their starting pitching has been excellent for the most part and they've had some timely hitting. I think Sosa will be a minor factor this year. He still shows flashes of power in his swing, but don't expect 25-30 homers from him. I think if he is used properly (only at DH) and if he stays healthy, he'll hit between 15 and 20 homers. Bonds, on the other hand, seems to be in excellent physical shape for the first time in two years. I see him breaking Aaron's record near the All-Star break and going on to hit about 35 homers if he stays healthy.Would you trade Derek Jeter for Jose Reyes if you had the chance?.?
I just think it's funny how one of your responders robert d thinks that Sammy still plays in Baltimore. The Cubs will win the NL central.
Barry will get his beloved record and then hopefully fade away into obscurity.
Sammy will have a mediocre year barring injury.

The surprise team will be the Reds.I honestly believe they can win that division.I don't think they will but they were only 3 games back of the Cardinals last year. They have a good 1-2 punch at the front of the rotation, and it is true the back isn't so strong but the youngsters will get better. Also now the Reds are not trying to always hit the ball out of the park. They have learned to play small ball.As for Barry Bonds he should have retired after 2006 just to respect the record and realzie that he cheated and Aaron didn't.sosa will be a minor factor in Texas.
