Why is it ok to have an all black college or United Negro Fund?..and if you have a white fund you are racist..
Question:Explain this to me.All black college not racist,all white= racist.I NEVER hear people complaining about the "lack" of white NBA players.Jackie Robinson was great...but not the 1st MLB that was black..Chet White in early 1900s was black and played some games..(people thought he was Indian) i'm guessing the only reason he's not reconized as MLBs 1st black is because his last name is White...Why does their "NEED " to be a certain % of black coaches in sports and players on teams?It's VERY sad that people HAVE to hire a black guy or get fined if they don't..What's America coming to.MY guess is racism didn't die...it just switched from whites to blacks...

I know that this may be hard to hear because it seems that you feel very strongly about this. I don't think that anything that I say could change your mind. But I believe that to find an all white anything is very easy. Like it or not being black still comes with a lot of discrimination. I won't say that we as a whole have not contributed to the way that people view us. I believe that black people are making it easier and easier to be seen in the light that society has shed upon us. But there are a lot of people that if they didn't have to hire black people they wouldn't. Just on based upon the idea that black people have attitudes or black people won't work hard etc. Racism is still out there and black people are guilty of it also. Black racism is just not as much as a threat. The truth is that black people have to prove themselves more so than whites people do. I am a 22 year old black woman and I have went into places to get jobs that I know that I am qualified for but been turned away. It seems like an excuse but you know when someone is looking at you like you don't belong there. Now I'm not going to whine about it. I am intelligent hard working and good at pretty much everything I do. If they couldn't see past the color of my skin, they missed out. White people don't need a fund or a special college or anything because the truth is that their parents generally raise children that have a chance at success. Mother and father enriching their childrens lives and giving them the skills they need to make it. Blacks have not come to a place yet where the majority of our children are being raised in full households. Most of us lived poor as children. It is easy to fall into a trap of trying to make fast money. I don't think that by companies and schools having to admit a certain amount of black people that this is going to make things worse, I believe it will make things better. It allows black people a chance that they might not otherwise get.. even when they have worked hard and deserve it.In baseball, what does "striking out the side" mean?
We as white folks don't speak out publicly against these issues. We let people like Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson put us down. The media also picks that up and runs with it until in runs out of steam. I in fact believe Sharpton and Jackson will reep what they sow being the racist that they are.
