Do weighted baseballs help your arm?
Even though I'm a Yankees fan the Yankees have the worst starting rotation at the moment considering that Mussina (hamstring) is on the DL Pavano (forearm) is on the DL (what a surprise) and the ace (debatably) of their staff Wang is on the DL (Hamstring) Their rotation has only two people I can name off the top of my head being Andy Pettitie and Kao Igawa. (They may call up 1st round draft pick Brandon Phillips).I hate the Red Sox, but they are definetly in the top five in pitching. They have Beckett (3-0) Schilling, and uh what's his name oh yeah Dice-K (not to mention Setup knuckleballer Tim Wakefield and Closer Jonathan Papelbon).

With all the injuries plaguing the Yankees, I'd say them.Healthy though, I'd say the Devil Rays, outside of Scott Kazmir, there's no one there.

When was the last time the St. Louis Cardinals started the season 0-3?
I'm a Yankees fan all the way, but with all their great pitchers on the DL, I have to say that the Yankees may have one of the worst available pitchers right now. What all is involved in a Major League baseball player's ridiculous salary?
Most likely, it's the Washington Nationals. Their "ace" is John Patterson, who missed most of the Nats 2006 campaign. While Patterson is a talented player, his arm troubles probably aren't over, and he'll most likely continue to struggle over the course of the year. The rest of the rotation is relatively unknown. Jerome Williams? Matt Chico? Jason Bergmann? Shawn Hill? Who? Patterson is the only pitcher on the staff born before 1980, and these kids are sure to take a beating this year. The Nationals' saving grace is that they play in a pitcher-friendly park, although this also means they'll get little run support. While Brian Schneider is a tough and experienced veteran catcher, and quite good at handling kid pitchers, he has a big task in front of him in developing these guys. Count in the fact that the defense behind the staff is a bit suspect (only Zimmerman is rock solid), especially the girthy Dmitri Young, and there's going to be a lot of long innings ahead. What are opinions on the Cubs being sold at the end of the year?
