If you were sitting in the wrigleyfield bleachers and Bonds hit his record tying home run?
Question:How many die hard cubs fans would throw it back on the field?
Answers:
Does anyone know if and where I can buy a Montreal Expo's hat??
good question. wrigley is pretty much the only field in baseball that doens't enforce the 'throwing objects on the field will result in ejection' when it comes to home run balls by opposing teams.i would throw it back. i love barry, he's great for baseball. he's never tested positive for steroids and even the years he was accused of using, baseball had no rule against it. hundreds of ball players were juicing in the late 80's and throughout the 90's just because they could. if it gives you an edge, there is no rule against it, it's hard not to. why play average when your teammates have this edge, getting better stats, healing quicker and getting bigger paydays? it was baseball's fault for not taking care of this earlier. not the players. no one even seems to care the steroids are rampant in the NFL and they have a testing policy worse than baseball's current one.
i love barry, but i'd throw it back. it's his ball. he could give it to his kids. the money would be nice, but it wouldn't be right. i couldn't keep a piece of history that would be much more meaningful to the bond's family than mine. in most cases when the fan gives a ball like that back, the player often time gives them a bunch of other stuff anyway. i'd throw it back at anyfield. even in san fran. his career record when he gets it, won't last long anyway, with arod and albert hitting like they are.
I would keep it and sell it on ebay or craigslist.
Which baseball team plays its home games outside the United States:?
I'm not a Cubs fan but if I were there I would throw back at his head as he rounded 2nd.Note to the people below me:I would not sell it.I am not telling a lie either.I would rather it be burned then sell it.I would probably miss if I aimed at him but it would make my point clear.
All I know is if I were in the stands and someone threw it on the field I would take spending a night in jail to run on the field and go grab it I promise you that. I don't care what anyone says about the steroids or this or that. Bottom line is steroids doesn't make you hit the ball and he is without a doubt the greatest Left Fielder to ever play the game.
Who were the PGH Pirates home openers for the last seven years?
If I was there I would put a ball in my pocket and pull the old switcharoo, at least you'll get out of the stadium alive...Sign for at a St. Louis Cardinals game?
Barry Bonds is a fraud, but I wouldn't hesitate for a second to take that ball and make an absolute killing from it. You don't have to like him to exploit him. Anyone who says they wouldn't is either stupid or a liar.Has Mark McGuire ever tested positive for steroids or masking agents?
Whomever has the nerve to say that they would not sell it, is a LIAR!!!I think the question here is...How much will it actually go for?
Will it get the same as previously auctioned baseballs for lesser feats?
Should Barry Bonds' obvious steroids-affected homeruns count?
I'm a diehard Cubs fan... but I'm not an idiot. I would never even consider throwing Barry's record-breaking ball back. What I would do is bring a spare baseball and throw it back. :)Does anyone know David Ortiz's stats thru 10 games of the 2006 season?
If I got it, my kids wouldn't have to worry about paying for college...OF COURSE I would sell it. I don't care much about Barry Bonds, so if someone else wants to pay for it for sure I'd sell it. If the Cubs Fans want to throw it back, more power to 'em.If anyone likes Texas rangers then give some examples why you like them?
I would have a full page ad taken out in USA Today where I tell Bonds I will give it to him for FREE - all he has to do is admit how he chemically changed his body - tell me how your head grew three sizes and how this is possible. Is it Minaya or Randolph the reason the Mets turn around?
I would definately not throw it back. I cannot stand Bonds, but I'd be a fool to not take advantage of the mega-bucks that ball would sell for.Do you think the triple AAA toledo mud hens will win their 3rd championship in a row? i do!?
HA!! That's funny, the Cubs winning the World Series! lol. If I was ever at Wrigley Feild it would be to watch the Cardinals beat the Cubs.More Questions & Answers...
