Batting stats?
Question:I need to no whether or not an error counts against your on base percentage. Like if the batter went 1 for 2 but got on both times the second time being because of an error, would the batter's OBP be .500 or 1.000? I was just wondering because this happened to me and I wanted to know if it affected my OBP.

It's a field choice and your OBP should show 1.000 since both times you made it safe to a base. Your batting avg would be only .500. Walks, errors, fielders choice aren't included in B.A. but are in OBP.How did the teams get picked for National and American League in baseball?
