Who hit 2 grnadslams in one inning?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure Bonds is just in it for the individual accomplishments. I don't think he'll lose any sleep over not winning a title... or any other "team" accomplishments. How often is Barry Bonds walked?
Deep down inside I think he will still feel incomplete, no matter what he says on TV. Its everyones dream to get a title, and he will not have one, so yeah he will feel incomplete. Why are my MLB scores unavailable?
He has already said he would like to have a championship title before he retires, but if it doesn't happen he is ok with it.Nope. He'll have that Big check from Balco to help him forget about the title.
If you could hand pick any 3 MLB players to start a franchise, who woud you take?
I think he wants one, but he knows he probably won't get one with the Giants. This could a small percentage of why he is going after Hank Aaron's record. If he gets Aaron's record maybe he thinks he will retire with something equally or more important to his legacy. I think his chase won't get that much attention, especially if A-Rod keeps up his pace. I think it would have meant so much more if Bonds was steroid-free and nice to the fans.Who is better jose reyes or miguel tejada?
bonds would trade the home run record for a worls series ring. bonds will keep playing as long as he is healthy and productive. i think he would be best suited as a dh in the american league. i dont think he would play in american league, he probably thinks like i do and hate the dh rule. its hard to watch american league games becauge of the dh rule. Will Don Mattingly replace Joe Torre next year?
I hope he hurts himself before he breaks Aaron's record I personally hate the guy. The only reasons is that he used steroids while the babe used hot dogs and beer. I would never cheer for him even if he does break the record.following the 2001 season his contract was up and he flat out said he was interested in playing for a contender. He mentioned nyy, stl. and boston. The idiots that run the cardinals paid as much for tino martinez to play first and albert to play left as they would have had to pay for bonds to play left and albert to play first. they would have won 4 or 5 titles in the last 6 years if they would have got bonds instead of martinez. then the yankees....lol they paid more for giambi than they could have had bonds for. Both teams were just looking at a 37 year old player asking for a 6 year deal. They didnt look at that it wasnt just any 37 yr. old. Barry will definitely play next year i would say it is 50 50 as to wether he stays in s.f. or he goes to try to win.
