Not unless both teams move elsewhere.As much as I would love to see it you will never see the tampa bay devil rays win that division! they are talking about changing their name to the Florida rays or the tampa rays, but as a frnchise they may win he division if they can get a bigger fan base and a good pitching staff! don't count on it.
It will a long time, but someday they will. the Pirates and Royals used to be good, and the Blue Jays won a couple of World Series in the early 90s. The Braves lost 100+ games in 1990, and then won 14 straight division titles. It all goes in cycles. So someday, the Rays will field a better team than the Yanks or BoSox. Just don't hold your breath.

That's going to be really hard for the Devil Rays. The Red Sox and Yankees have more money than any other team in the MLB. They're always going to be able to get the best players. Sure Tampa Bay might get someone like Carl Crawford, but at the same time New York is getting Derek Jeter, A-Rod, and Roger Clemens. IF-ownership "seizes the moment" and decides to let the purse strings open some and add the few pieces needed to make this talented young team more solid in its weakest areas-the rotation and the 'pen-absolutely. Let this bunch of kids get this season under their belts, add a legit #2 starter to Kaz and Shields, add a solid piece or two to the pen, and LET 'EM PLAY.
