Do the Cardinals come out of their slump or not?
Question:
Answers:
Who did Nolan Ryan throw his last no-hitter against?
I don't think it's a slump. It's just that the Cardinals really aren't a very good team.Look at their current rotation with Carpenter out - Wells, Reyes, Looper, Wainwright and Thompson. Of the teams currently contending in any division, that's just about the weakest rotation you'll find. I don't know why in the world they expected anything from Wells, given his past few years, and I don't think Reyes or Wainwright will be a staff ace this time around.
On offense, they have one of the worst-hitting middle infields I've seen in a long time. David Eckstein seems to have fallen off a cliff, and Adam Kennedy wasn't that good to begin with. Pujols is a stud, but there are just too many holes offensively for them to make up for the poor pitching.
The Cards might stick around for a while if the Brewers don't run away with the division, but I wouldn't count on a title defense. My guess is that they don't sniff the playoffs this time around.
How does one find out what where MLB umpires are scheduled on a daily basis ?
Yep. Larussa will pull his team out, and make a run for the playoffs.i hope not. i hate the cardinals
Can you hurt your arm by throwing a curveball when your young?
Possibly. But that pitching staff will have to step up huge in order to do so.Will Jimmy Rollins out homer Ryan Howard this year?!?
I think they will.Does Rogers Centre in Toronto allow food in?
I think the Cardinals will play maybe about .500 ball this year. They have a below average pitching staff, and as we all
know, it's pitching that wins for you 90% of the time. The
injury to Carpenter hurt them badly, plus the fact that Mulder
been out since last year. Also, this team has no speed.
I see them battling it out with the Cubs and Pirates for last
in the division.......
