NY Yankee fans are pessimistic about the future of the Evil Empire...Should they be? Are the Bombers through?

Really tought call this early in the season.

Right now, I'm going with the Detroit Tigers. Their bullpen has struggled and they've still been one of the hottest teams in the league. Zumaya and Rodney will improve, Jones is a solid hand at closer, and Verlander is a stud. If Rogers is healthy for the postseason, I like him, Verlander, and Bonderman as much as any playoff rotation. Plus, their offense is as good as anyone's.

From the National League, I'll give you a surprise pick. Florida Marlins. I think they'll get their young starters healthy and clicking, with Josh Johnson, Scott Olsen, Dontrelle Willis, maybe Anibal Sanchez can come back, and they'll hang around in the East until they pick up a closer near the trade deadline, which will help their bullpen fall into place. They have a lot of good young hitters who are all ready to step up, and Miguel Cabrera is just killing the ball this year.

Well, its way to early to even be talking about this but there are a few teams that are in the running early.

The Braves have the pitching so far to get there, the Sox have the offense, and a little pitching, Beckett is off the chain right now. The Brewers are way to young still but have a good core of veterans to get there. I really think the winner will come out of the west though. I dont know who but the A's always show up late and play well in the playoffs and those guys aren't quite as young. I guess i would say the A's and i am a Giants fan.
