Who was the guy that caught the baseball at some game (I think it was the world series?) & ever1 was mad @ him
I vaguely remember watching some baseball game where this guy in the stadium caught the ball and everyone was pissed at him cuz I think one of the baseball players was gonna catch it so that the oppsoing team wouldn't get a home run, but this moron guy literally took the ball out of the baseball players glove. Anyone know what I'm talking about? It was a few years ago. I just got reminded of that because my little brother was watching the Suite Life with Zach and Cody and it was an episode where something like that happened.

i believe that you are talking about a game between the Yankees and the Orioles from the playoffs about 5-10 years ago. the Kid who caught the ball was Jeffery Maier if i'm not mistaken.Do you think it's time that fans should vote in pitchers for the All Star game too? Explain.?
Steve Bartman infamously prevented Cubs leftfielder Moises Alou from catching a ball down the left field foul line on October 14, 2003 in the National League Championship Series against the Florida Marlins. The Cubs blew a big lead with little time left and the Marlins went on to win the world series continuing the curse of the Billy Goat on the Chicago Cubshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/steve_bartm...

It was the 2003 NLCS.The ball was in the stands, and Steve Bartman was fully entitled to it. Moises Alou decided to whine about it instead, and the Cubs, who still had plenty of time to get over and win the game couldn't be bothered to motive themselves to do so. Those fans had no reason and no right to blame Bartman.
