What is the value of a baseball autogrpahed by the 1967 red sox?
Bagwell, yes! His numbers are consistent with other 1B that are in the hall. Plus he was a leader on his team and that always counts for a lot.Biggio, yes! He will reach 3000 hits which will automatically put him in the hall. Not only hitting but he's been an outstanding defensive 2B his entire career.
Orioles fans- What happened to BJ Surhoff?
Bagwell, no. He is a mediocre power hitter in the Steroid Era. Many writers won't even vote Bonds or McGwire in, why would they vote Bags in?Biggio is a near lock for the hall of fame once he gets his 3000th hit. He is one of the few that are left that play the game hard, and he has done it at the top level for a long time.
I want to know an estimate of how many errors A-Rod will have this year.?
yes to both,, Bagwell was a great player and leader. It maybe during steroid era but he was not mentioned. he's cleanBiggio is a great 2nd baseman in a weak postion. He will be in the HOF on 1st ballet
Portraits of players of the big red machine?
I think they both make it. Bagwell was a very good hitter for a very long time. Injuries forced him out of the lineup a little early, which cost him 500 homers. But a .297 average for a power hitter is impressive. Maybe he has to wait a bit, but he'll go.Biggio might not have made it 20 years ago, but I think we appreciate his skills today. He was an all-around talent who lasted forever. The 3,000 hits will make it official, but he's generally recognized as a great player. Bill James once called him one of the most underrated players of all time, and I think he's right.
