Henderson scored almost 2300 runs, I believe. If Reyes stays at the Mets long term, he should get there, given stars like Beltran and Wright remain at the Mets to keep driving him in.
With him leading off and the most intimidating NL batting order behind, who knows what the Mets can do this year.

I highly doubt that he will be the all-time stolen base leader. Reyes usually steals about 60 stolen bases per year. Ricky stole up to 100 and around that consistently. He also played a long career with success to the end. Reyes is good, and may be a hall of famer one day, but Ricky Henderson will be king for a while.Very and I don't think so.

The thing with Reyes is that his power numbers are constantly increasing. If he hits 30 homeruns a year, my guess is he won't be stealing 60 bases a season at that point. However, he would be hitting .300 / 100 / 30 / 100 / 45 or so for his career (avg. / runs / homeruns / RBI / SB), which would be excellent numbers.Who is the best SS in NL East?

Reyes is one of the best players in the game right now. How many times did ricky henderson have an O-ranking or season ranking of 2 or 3?Never. he stole bases up until he was over 40. Anybody who played that many years can put up good numbers and each of those years when he stole over 100 bags,he was on the Roids.Potentially as good as any SS to ever play.
