Wil A Rod break hank aarons all time home run record?
Question:hank aaron had 755
arod has 476 and about 10 years left
Answers:
Why will or wont the NY mets win the world series in 2007?
Break Hammerin' Hank's record? Nope.Unfortunately, A-Rod will have to DEMOLISH Bond's dubious record.
Fortunately, A-Rod will have 10 years to surpass Bonds and stay ahead of Albert Pujols. I would love to see either of them in a race for all time homerun leader.
A-Rod is at 476, and let's just assume he plays 10 more years (not counting this year). This year he finishes with 40 more home runs (a reasonable expectation). That puts him at 516 home runs. Lets look at his "final" 10 years.
1. 48 HR 2. 45 HR 3. 40 HR 4. 40 HR 5. 38 HR
6. 35 HR 7. 33 HR 8. 30 HR 9. 27 HR 10. 23 HR
Assuming normal power production dropoff, and assuming there are no injuries or retirements or other devastating impacts to his game this would put him squarely on 875 CAREER HOME RUNS!
So A-Rod should definately be the Home Run leader if he continues to do well and not be injured.
How good do you think Soriano is going to be?
Yes! I think he will hit 900+ Home Runs! What is the best baseball team?
He'll surpass Aaron but the answer is No...he'll break Barry Bonds' homerun record. That is if he stays healthy and doesn't suddenly have his skills fall off.
How bad are the Padres if the are leaning on rookie Kevin Kouzmanoff to lead them?
not very likely... plus it will prob. be Bonds he is chasing if he does get closeError on a sacrifice bunt. Count as an "at bat"?
no but he might break barry bond's single season record this year if teams don't smarten up and walk himYes i think A-rod will best hank aron( Probally Barry Bonds). As you said Arod has 10 sesons left, multiply that by the avg. of homeruns he hits in a season(about 35-40) and he will end up with about 820. That will be more than enough to beat hank arons record of 755.
What Dottie Ferguson Key did after leaving baseball?
no his hitting is getting worseDoes anyone one know Derek Jeters phone #, e-mail, or how to meet him?
If Bonds is the leader, then I hope he breaks it!I need to watch free baseball i don't know how to do this though can anyone help me?
He will be one of many to do soJonny Damon and the Red Sox -> Yankees?
Yes. No doubt.Its definately possible.
And its nice to see A-Rod on track again.
i think he has a pretty good chance of it!! If not, i think he has a good chance for breaking the april homerun record
no,he would have to stay healthy and he's not getting any younger. He'd have to avg. 30 HR's a year
Is a Softball harder or a Baseball? Or do they have the same hardness?
HE WILL PASS 755 & SET THE CLEAN RECORD FOR HOME RUNS IN A CAREER.Yankees what will there record be??
"no, his hitting is getting worse"so not true.
have you been watching this season?? a-rod as found his swing, and this year will really project him to get the all-time home run record in the next 10 years.
Hands down, I realized that he had 400 HRs a couple years ago and was still in his 20s! He should have 800+ or at least 755+ before he's done.
Barry Bonds will finish up with around 760 HRs, as he will retire this year. If he doesn't get the record, he will retire w/ 756 next year.
A-Rod will bamboozle that record, I just hope he doesn't break it with the Yankees.
Oh yeah, guess what this year is for A-Rod? A Contact Year. Players always pick it up Contract Year. Expect him to get a large sum of money from the Yankees if he hits 70. He could make 30m a year for the next 6 or so.
Have you ever been to minute maid park?
probably, if he does not get injured a lotThe question is will A Rod want to keep playing for 10 years. Will he still have the love of the game. He definitely has enough money. Also he needs to stay healthy. Remember Ken Griffey Jr, a few years ago? Everyone said he would be the one breaking Hank Aarons record. A Rod definitely has the potential, especially if he stays in the AL and DH towards the end of his career.
What exactly is an eephus pitch?
Yes, he has one of the best chances next to pujos. i think after Barry bonds sets the record around 760 at the end of this and if he comes back Barry will set it at 780ish. but no matter what i think a rod will shatter what ever record bonds will put up. if arod hits 30-40 bombs every year he would break bonds 780ish. i think he will hit 50 bombs continuously and go for the 800/900 club. he's that good!.Not to mention but if he opts out of his contract and comes to the nl next year he would probably hit even more. because i think that nl pitchers are a little bit easier to hit bombs off of. and i think nl parks are also more of a hitter's ball parks.
Are there any 2007 baseball cards featuring new Red Sox pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka?
No doubt he will unless-a.) He gets injured
b.) He does a Sammy sosa, if you remember sammy sosa looked like an easy contender for Hank Aarons record and then he fell out of almost no where.
Though I am a Giants fan I really do hope that A-Rod breaks Bonds record (when he sets it) because I want to see the game be competitive like this. If you think about it Bonds would not have stayed for this year if he didnt have a chance at Aarons record. This will keep great players in the game for a bit longer.
He and Pujols both are far ahead of Bond's pace per year in age.
If A-Rod and Pujols can take care of themselves one if not both of them will get it.
How do you think the Boston Redsox will be this year?
yes, no doubthe has ten good years left, and has to hit 300 homers, so that's 30 a year. He can pull that off easily.
Who are your favorite baseball team and pitcher...?...?
A. bonds is one of a very very small group of players that production didnt decline in the late 30's.B. everyone above me acts like bonds is just around to break the record and will just barely break it. i got news for you..good news for the giants fan. bonds will break the record by the allstar break this year and finish with over 770 this year. then he will be back next year. He wants 3000 hits and he will get then unless he gets serious injury. So that means one more year after this year for bonds which will finish him in the low 800's for homeruns which will not be beat by arod nor anyone else.
Which Boston Red Sox leads the majors with 8 errors?
As A-Rod gets older, he will strat hitting less and less home runs, will end up with about 720!!What's the record for most home runs in a game?
A-Rod should set the Career HR record as long as he can stay healthy. What high water mark he sets depends really on where he plays and for how long. Some people have said he should get out of Yankee stadium. That's a double edged sword. He could wind up in a better hitters' park, true, but he isn't likely to wind up on a team that can surround him with as many high caliber hitters as New York, so the quality of pitches he sees may diminish, and I say that as a definitive non-NY fan.His best bet would probably be Boston, and I'm not a Boston fan either. The Bo Sox can put good hitters around him and that short left field wall, albeit a bit high, would easily keep him in the 45-60 range for the immediate future and allow him to stay at 35+ for the rest of his career.
Absolutely. He's going to hit 50 this season, reaching 514 for his career. Since 1999, he has averaged 44+ home runs. At the start of next season, he will be 32 years old. Let's say he plays until he's 40 (and say his production continues at its current pace until then). That's 8 years.
8 years x 44 HR = 352 HR
352 + 514 = 866 HR
Then I think he'll hit at a pace of 15-20 home runs per year until he's 42. So that's about 35 more.
866 + 35 = 901 HR
I think he'll retire around 900 home runs, unless he is still hitting for power at age 43, in which case he might choose to pursue 1000 career homers. Wow.
