Interleague play...hurt or help baseball?

Question:I personally like seeing my Angels play the Dodgers two series a year for bragging rights. If your teams happen to be bad or mediocre this year (Giants/A's, Rangers/Astros) it kinda gets you motivated for a series. Just because you may play good teams in interleague, doesn't mean it will make or break your season. If you're good, you will win, if you lose, then you shouldn't go to the playoffs. Shut and play ball!

Why do the toronto blue jays start their home games at 7.07pm?

I think it helps baseball, but I think it needs to be revamped. I am from NJ, so I do enjoy the Mets-Yanks games, but in a way it has lost a bit of the excitement. The first year or two it was awesome, but now since they play 6 times a year, it isn't as exciting as it used to be. Interleague does bring out bigger crowds and tv ratings, so it helps. I just think that they need each division should play every 3rd year. that would bring more excitement imo.

MLB injury question please?

it helps for the playoffs when you have to play your own division

Carl Pavano?

I like it...think its helps baseball

Did Roger Clemens out foxed himself when he really did have a chance to make history?

Baseball has so many reasons for falling into the tank for reasons other than Interleague play. Too many games causing coasting. Losing to amature players in the WBC. The 1997 Tied Allstar game. The lack of a salary cap. The Homerun hitter being considered too much. Lack of quality games. Ticket prices being too high. Boring games up until the playoffs when the game matters.

Softball cheers!?

Lots of fun! However, as a Rockies fan it's usually a little lame since they play teams like the Royals and Rangers, who I couldn't care less about... but watching the Yanks/Mets, Giants/A's, and Angels/Dodgers is loads of fun!

Which MLB team will be most successful this year?

its awesome

If you could create a league of your own ,who would the guys be?

I hate interleague as it is. It is too much of the same for my White Sox. Not only do we play the Cubs every year, but twice every year. Maybe if you played each division every 3rd year it would be better. Because we play the Cubs twice, we miss some interesting matchups. I would rather see White Sox - Mets, or White Sox - Braves instead of the Cubs every year.

Should joe go on the yankees?

i dunno bout this one. i dont like watching colorodo vs kansas city or marlins vs tampa. but some interleague games are cool like cubs vs sox and yanks vs mets.
A's arent bad they have had tons of guys on the DL, harden, duchserer, street, kotsay, bradley, etc...
Giants are alright considering how poorly they started and how they have no offense whatsoever. their pitching has been great.

Has anyone heard about cardinals pichter....?

It goes both ways. Then they introduced it baseball was in need of a new gimmick to bring fans back to the game. They started by rotating teams that played each other each year. This idea of playing the same inter-league teams some teams get easy games other get creamed. Yes the action of NY or Chicago or even the Bay is great but there are some teams with no inter-league rivals that just get hosed.

Where is Mark Prior playing now?

I personally hate inter-league play. Baseball was the one sport that the two divisions never played eachother until the end to see which division has the best team. Now two teams playing eachother in seperate leagues could end up in the world series and we might already have an idea who is goin to win. Oh and I hate the DH. We all grew up playing baseball and the pitcher always bats, and he was usually one of the best ones on the team! NO INTERLEAGUE AND NO DH! Long Live the NL
