Yes they do.There will be some people that answer after me who say they don't have pitching,they always can't do it,or something of that nature.But the truth it they CAN.Their pitching staff is fantastic.Sabathia is one of the best in the game and getting better,Byrd has been unhittable so far,Lee pitched a 3-hitter the other night,Carmona isn't even in the rotation and his era is below 3,and Sowers has struggled so far but I'm sure he'll get in the hang of things.Westbrook will be back soon as well and he will become a groundball machine again.Their bullpen is also good,not great but improved.Tom Mastny has done so-so,Robertoe Hernandez has done well,Betancourt has done great,Cabrera has been phenominal,and Aaron Fultz has shown he can get lefties and righties out.Matt Miller is on the DL for now but he has a carrer ERA of about 3.As for their hitting,they aren't even hitting yet.Sizemore is starting to get on a hot streak,Hafner hasn't gone on yet,and Martinez has just reached where he should be.The hitting will only get better and they are already winning without it.Watch out for the Tribe this year.My pick to win it all.Who has the Craziest,Funniest,Ugliest and Stupidest in the MLB?

However much I'd like to say they can, it will be hard. They have the hitting and starting pitching. But, they need to work on the setup and relief a little more. The central is such a tough division to win in. Coming out with the wild card is more than enough for me.Why is it that only one active player in MLB (the Yankee's Mariano Rivera) wears #42?
I like this team. I like them alot. Sabathia is a flat out stud, and Grady Sizemore is probably in the top 3 of the best leadoff men in the American League, along with Ichiro and Johnny Damon. Hafner is starting out a bit slower than were used to, but the Hafner we know and love will be back in his MVP caliber playing style soon enough. The one thing this team has is a reliable closer, and thats the reason I think they can do so well, is because they can close out all the close games now. They have all the pieces to the puzzle, and they are coming into place finally.i think not......SORRY!
