Who thinks the Mets are taking it this year?

The mets don't have Pedro M. in the pitching rotation, so thats a loss. But do you guys think their strong enough, to withstand the 1st place 2nd place the entire season?

MLB height requirments?

I don't know if the Mets will be able to beat the Braves in the National League East, they might. Either way, the wild card will most likely come from the East Division, most likely the loser of the Mets-Braves. If that happens and the Mets play good in the playoffs, there is no reason that they shouldn't have a chance to win the World Series.

Can anyone remember the game where the Cleveland Indians had an incredible comeback win?

Yup, taking it in the ***

Where does Derek Jeter reside?

The mets are good for sure, but I dont know if they will hold up to the American League if they were to make it to the World Series. I think their lineup and rotation (if they stay healthy) is one of the best in the national league. I would say they win their division and do pretty good in the playoffs but will not win world series.

Pirates or Astros In Todays Game?

If by 'taking it this year', you mean, 'getting stomped by the Brewers this weekend', then yes, I think the Mets are taking it this year.

Who's Your Tiger?

I think that the Mets will win the world series for the following reason: Their lineup like last year will carry the team to the Playoffs. Then in the playoffs-when pitching is what matters- the Mets will have that as well. Their bullpen is already one of the best in the game, and sanche will be back by then as well as mota. As far as their rotation is concerned the following is my projected rotation for the playoffs:
SP#1: The Ace that the Mets keep hinting that they'll be getting by the trade deadline
SP#2:Pedro will be back stronger than before the injury, and even if for some reason he is not in his perfect form- then his coming back will lift their confidence.
SP#3:Tom Glavine: Anytime a 300+ wins pitcher is the third in the rotation then u know that their is something special with the rotation
SP#4:El Duque makes a VERY solid number 4 pitcher, especially in the post season.
SP#5:Mike Pelfrey: They ROY with numbers similar to that of Justin Verlander in
06. And that in my opinion is a very solid pitching staff to go along with a great infield and great lineup, and when every part of the team is good (from the offence, rotation, bullpen, defence, chemistry) then there is no reason as to why they shouldnt win the world series.

Why is baseball so boring on TV?

I think that they have a really good chance to win it all this year as long as they can continue to make do with what they have in terms of the pitching staff because to be quite honest with you their offense is dangerous.

Who was the only AL Pitcher who gave up 14 hits in a game, and still pitched a shutout? What year was it?

Yes, they are hungry. Especially after last years lost. They will not settle for nothing less then the series.

Don't baseball players have any integrity for the game anymore? Does not seem like it!?

The Mets are a great team that has been doing very well. I respect them very much, and I will be rooting for them to the World Series. They have a great lineup and much more. They have all the right things. If they keep it up, they will have a great chance at theWorld Series.

Why are Yankee fans out there moaning about A-rod? Shouldn't they be moaning about their pitching staff?

I do!
