Mets fans! Please help?
Question:Hi, my boyfriend is a huge mets fan, his birthday is coming up and i want to buy him mets tickets. But, i wanna know, when is a significant game coming up around July? Is it too early to tell? A friend suggested the fireworks one around July 3 or so but I've checked the schedule and there's an away game on that date. I appreciate your help guys!

Unfortunately it doesn't look like you have a lot of options for a significant game in July. You've got a series with the Reds July 12-15 and they are not a terrible team, but not necessarily a great team either. Otherwise, your choices are Pittsburgh the 24-26 or the Nationals the 27-29. Neither one of those are good options, but at the same time, if he is really a HUGE Mets fan, he won't care which game he goes to, he should just be excited to go to one of them.Question about MLB.com Basic or Premium?

Well.the All-Star game is being played there 7/10. I'm sure it's sold out. You'll probably have to pay top dollar for that game.Not many good games that month unfortunately. But if I had to pick a game it would be against the Cincy Reds. The Pirates are coming too however they are one of the worst teams in the league.

It seems to me ur looking for home game tickets. There is a home game against Cincinnati Reds on July 13 and the first 25,000 fans get an Endy Chavez bobblehead. I think it's gonna be cool. Or you could go to Mets. com and check on the July schedule. The dates that are highlited in orange mean it's a homegame and on some dates there are little green boxes and white boxes on the left side of the date. The white box means there's gonna be some promotional gifts or some kind of special day. So that's gonna be pretty cool I think.

It's never too early to buy tickets. You might have a problem however with July tickets. If you could get Mets/Yankees tickets I'm sure he'll love you forever.

Mets are the best team in the National League, if not all of baseball. Every game is full of action and home runs, strikeouts, stolen bases, the works. The important thing is that its a METS game. and not a yankees game. Other than that, it dosent matter which game really.July 28th The Mets play a double header against washington.
