This whole idea of coming into the season when he's ready and playing only at home is just setting a trend for other players to follow. Its hard to ask Clemens to retire when he is still one of the better pitchers going around, especially in the NL. Maybe only a 5-6inning pitcher, but plenty of guys around get knocked out then, while giving up10runs, rather have a 6inning Clemens who is probably going to win the game.Franco should never retire.
