Who thinks the Marlins are going to make it to the play-offs this year?
Cleveland plays as early as Friday, at Jacobs Field in Cleveland. It is completely thawed out and all snow is removed. It actually looks like a baseball stadium. They only planned on playing this one series in Milwaukee, because their field was unplayable. The weather in Cleveland is deceint.. well no snow, so they will play on.. finally.Im in Little Leauge baseball and I just cant knock it over the fence does any1 have tips?
Well luckily the Brewers are off today and then head to St. Louis to face the Cards in a 3 game series, and then head to Cincinatti to play the Reds for 2 games. The Indians open a series against the White Sox tonight, and after that they head to New York to play the Yanks on the 17th so no conflicts would occur if they keep playing in the Brewers park. I do think the Indians park will be playable within the coming days, if not today, however. The White Sox and Indians open up a series tommarow, they are supposed to start it back in Cleveland, but we will see if that happens.
Does anyone know when any othe baseball games for 2007 are coming out other then backyard baseball?
The Indians are supposed to play the White Sox at Jacob's Field back in Cleveland. The weather is still cold and crummy. Snow is predicted for tonight, but it will probably melt when it hits the ground. The wind is brisk and the windchill is probably in the 20s if not colder.
So, the game may be called on account of sleet.
Why the Baseball Execs or the schedulers did this, I don't know. It is not uncommon for snow to come to N.E. Ohio in April.
