My caoch is a dumb *** what should i do?

Question:ok so im in 8th grade and my baseball season has been going pretty good so far. We were 6-1 (now 6-2) and in first place in our division after beating an undfeated team to get there. We had lost 1 game prior in which the other team had only 8 player and were forced to take an out at the 9th sot in the linup. My coach decides to be a "nice guy" and not make them take the out . We ended up losing the game 13-7. The other team scored 7 runs after their should have been three outs had he made them take the out. Tonight we were playing to clinch 1st place and we were playing a pretty good team. My coach made a good decision to pitch 1 of our best pitchers to match the other teams good pitcher. then he decided to let a kid who has ver few hits all year hit leadoff. he plays his son (not very good) at SS and puts a kid who starts at SS for a travel team and hits 1st (he hits 7 on our team). We lost the game after he decided to bring in is son to pitch rather than 1 of our best. he wont listen

choke him. It worked for Latrell Spreewell. He got traded and made more money.

Red Sox fans ONLY?

First off, it's middle school. It hardly matters, if you have to resort to it, focus on your own development.

Was bud Selig a better owner than commissioner?

Who are some of the most famous Ex-Texas Rangers? (Baseball)?

F*** your coach and just keep being a good player. really you can't do much about him.

Which ball player would you say has or had the worst nickname?

He sounds like he wants his son to get a piece of the action. He needs more practice first though. Talk to your coach and you guys should make decisions together if your coach can't make good decisions for your team.

Is Bonds getting the homerun record a good event for baseball?

Would this be better for Major League Baseball? Looks more even, doesn't it?

Get on another team if you don't like his methods. The point to sports is having fun and winning (No one likes to lose, but in the midst of this, you need to become a graceful loser.). If you don't have a good bond with your coach, find another team that will suit you.

Too many good Outfielders...?

You are right, your coach is dumb. However it is with sadness that I tell you that there is nothing you can do about it. Those pathetic people who say that it hurts self esteem to have healthy competition are ruining sports until high school, and in some cases even then.

Sorry, you are stuck with a society which nurtures mediocracy, and shuns competition.

Bring me back the old days when competition was fierce and respected.

And this crap about graceful loser is pathetic. You must be a good sport, but "graceful loser" WHAT AN IDIOTIC THING TO HANG ON A KID!

You have to accept a loss if you gave it your all. If you did not give it your all you have to strive for more.

Do not be any kind of loser...graceful or otherwise. Be a winner. You can lose a game and still be a winner if you gave it your all, but NEVER consider yourself any kind of loser.

Do u like kauffman stadium?

There's nothing you can do. Just play the game, and don't encourage all the backbiting and negative talk, and maybe you'll end up winning the whole thing after all.

What is the difference between a breaking pitch and a change-up?

break both his son's legs
at least he couldnt play ne more

Roger Clemens says he will only pitch in home games?what do you think about that?

Well, you seem like a nice kid who has his head on straight. I have coached college baseball for two years as well as played in college, high school, etc... You are in a tough spot. One of the unwritten rules of baseball is that you NEVER show up your coach. In return he NEVER shows you up. So you have to respect him as your coach. This is what I would do. Show up to the park about an hour early. Ask him if you could talk to him 1 on 1. Tell him that you really really want to win and that you have a few suggestions that might help the team..who should bat where, who should play 6, etc. If he is a good coach he will listen...hopefully he does what you say and you can back him up on the field. If he does not listen you can't do much. Go beat the hell out of the team and grab some soda pops with your friends. Good Luck!

Which one do you like more the Yankees or the red sox?

Masterbation is the solution to every 8th grade problem. Except spelling and grammer, you should pay more attention in class.

The yankees are the most rated team in baseball?

Ah!! It is so good to hear from an "experienced" 8th grader who knows more about baseball than his coach or any other adult. Son, winning is important, but there are many lessons to be learned playing the game and sometime in losing the game. Be quiet, sit back, observe, and LEARN>

Chow!!
