There wasnt a curse at all. It was only something created to make an excuse for why the red sox couldnt win. Babe Ruth was really the changing for the yankees, without him they would never be where they are. It might even be flipped in the other direction, but i guess we'll never know

Good question.
For one, there would be no Babe Ruth curse, so less hype in 04. The Yankees-Red Sox rivalry would be not as drastic as it is today, I think. Also, everything would be different because the yanks would have to get a player to replace Babe Ruth, and the team that the yanks get him from will need a new guy and so on.
