Giants fans.?

Question:I saw just now that the Giants brought up outfielders Dan Ortmier and Freddy Lewis. I am assuming the Roberts went on the DL. What happened to Linden? Did he get sent back down to the minors? I mean I'm not all that dissapointed because he hasn't been helping the team offensively much but I was just wondering if he went on the DL too or just got sent back down?

Yeah Dave Roberts will have surgery for the bone chips and back in about 4 weeks, Todd Linden isn't on the DL, and is still on the roster and played recently against the Mets (hitless of course), so maybe it is real recent move to move him down to get his timing "back" I'm guessing.

Yeah your right, Roberts is having elbow surgery so hes out, and Linden got sent down because of poor play. Roberts' injury supposedly will keep him out for about 4 weeks.
