It's got nothing to do with entitlement. It has everything to do with commitment to winning. Fans from other teams should never be upset with the Yankees, they should be upset with the management of their own teams. They should be asking them why they don't have the same commitment to winning as the Yankees.Because we're so used to it.

Not every team has the funds to be the Yankees. Actually, no team has those kinds of funds, except maybe the Dodgers. That's why there's something called "profit sharing". The Yankee fans think their team is the best because they have the highest payroll by far every year. But as a Yankee hater, it makes it that much more enjoyable to see them choke year after year. But that last statement made no sense. Every team is committed to winning. Just because their payroll isn't over 200 mil every year doesn't mean they're not trying to win.

It's not just Yankee fans, it's all New Yorkers. It's arrogance to the 9th degree.I live in Toronto, and whomever talked about the Leafs fans and the Yankees fans is absolutely right. But in Toronto, it's just about hockey. (For example, in October 1993, when the Jays were on the verge of winning the WS, hockey fans were calling the baseball postgame shows to talk about the Leafs winning streak.)
