What is a good low cost baseball card brand/series to buy for 2007?
My daughters are really getting into baseball and asked me to buy them some cards... I want something cheap that they can look at and handle. They are 7 and 5 and big Brewer's fans. I would like to get a box of something so they can open them and experience what I did as a kid, at 20 cents a pack. but if not I may buy them a team set at the card shop.

What do you think the Baltimore Orioles need more, pitching or batting?
my favorite series is the topps opening day cards they are only 99 cents a pack and are about 9.99 for a box you get 8 cards plus special inserts they are the cheapest you can buyHow many K's will Daisuke have tonight?
Your best bet is to go with the team sets. If she's a Brewers fan, team sets are the way to go because the card shops can easily get them either brought in from a dealer or put them together themselves from different card makers such as Upper Deck and others.I see boxes of baseball cards, mainly Topps, at Target and Walmart all the time for $10. Granted there are only 10 packs per box, but that's the best price I've seen for boxes of cards. They're usually by the registers.
