thank you. for once, a person with common sense. For one, i agree the mets are not as good as they seem. John Maine got have to a hot start and i doubt he will keep it up. As for Clippard, he is a top prospect for the Yanks so it was no surprise that he succeeded in the big leagues. He might pull off a Chase Wright and get demoted after another start, but still, Clippard is pretty good.Who's your pick: johan santana or roy oswalt?

You're basing the mets not being good on one Sunday night game? They had already won the first 2 games of the series. Teams often slack off when they've gotten 2 out of 3 already. Sure, it would've been nice if they got the sweep, but you claiming they're no good because of it is just retarded. "The 1st place Mets suck because they lost 1 out of 3 to the Yankees!" It may be that Clippard is a good starter. Its tough having your first major league start in a series like that. He just knows how the handle the pressure well i guess.Is hitting home runs easyer now or 30 years ago. can u explain y?
I am a HUGE Met fan and it really made me mad last night. if the Yankees had but in one of thier regulars (if they have any left) the Mets would have won hands down. they are a great team. thier speed, fielding and agility beats the yankees every time. the won the series and got the Empire State building so get over it!p.s. no, i will not be dissipointed in October because the Mets will at least make the post-season. more than the pinstripes will be able to do!
