Where can I find a list of the 2007 mlb managers?

I have never been there, but since they ripped out the AstroTurf and installed sod it's great. The ballpark is now 35 years old and still looks great. I usually don't like the symmetrical ballparks, but Dodgers Stadium and Kauffman Stadium are great parks in my opinion.

It is pretty interesting that when they built Royals Stadium, the built the park for 40,000 seats. During the same time all the "cookie-cutter" stadiums had 50-60 thousand seats. Then during the 90's all the new ones seem to realize the errors of their ways and have downsized the capacities back down to the 40,000 range. I think it's safe to assume that Kansas City had the right idea all along back in the early 70's. Build seperate facilities for both football and baseball, share parking for both.

Detroit Tiger's Season Tickets!?

I was there back in 2004 when the Orioles came in town. It wasn't a real highlight match-up since both teams by that point where last place in the division. But I enjoyed Kauffman Stadium. It was a beautiful ballpark, with the fountains, the stadium was crisp and well kept.

Basically my father and I had fun in the presences of KC fans, who also know the plight of rooting for a struggeling organization. I wouldn't mind at all going back someday. I enjoyed my time in both KC, MO and KC, KA.

Whos going to win the World Series?

I'm from KC and have probably been to 75 games there in my life. I've been to 10 other stadiums including many that are less than 5 years old and I have to say it ranks right up there with any of them. The people are friendly and it just has a relaxed feel to the whole experience. I've sat everywhere from behind the dugout to the upper deck and have always had a good view of the field. I think the people of Jackson County made the right call in renovating it instead of replacing it.

And oh yeah for the record, they are fountains not waterfalls out there. KC has the most fountains of any city in the country so the stadium was built to reflect that...

I used to - at least ten years ago.

The facts about Kauffman are:
- it's poorly located - it should have been built Downtown, not in Raytown.
- no good economic development - it's surrounded by a concrete desert, and the closest restaurant is the Taco Bell across the street on Blue Ridge Cutoff. Are you kidding me with that?
- it's over thirty years old, antiquated, and looks it.
- the Royals suck in part as a result of these factors. Hey, David Glass, you want to run the team like Wal-Mart, why not just demote yourself to AAA already because that's what this team really is now?
- if MLB starts talking contraction again, you can almost guarantee that the Royals will be the first to go.

Simply put, the Royals need a new stadium, and is needs to be Downtown. Period.
